Now that’s something truly special, my friends. Let me tell you, it’s yoga with a twist, a little bit of animal magic thrown into the mix. It’s like downward dog meets downward goat!
Picture this: you’re doing your sun salutations, and then you look up and there’s a goat right there beside you, nibbling on your yoga mat. It’s a little crazy, a little chaotic, but it’s also hilarious and fun. Those goats, they’re just full of personality, always curious and playful.
The thing about goat yoga is that it’s not just about the yoga, it’s about the whole experience. It’s about being outside in nature, feeling the sun on your skin, and breathing in the fresh air. It’s about letting go of your worries and just being present in the moment. And those goats, they’re great at helping you do that. They make you laugh, they make you smile, and they remind you that life is meant to be enjoyed.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “Isn’t it distracting to have goats wandering around while you’re trying to do yoga?” Well, sure, it can be a little distracting, but that’s kind of the point. It’s not supposed to be a super-serious yoga practice. It’s supposed to be lighthearted and fun, something that makes you feel good inside and out.
So if you’re looking for a unique and hilarious yoga experience, give goat yoga a try. Trust me, it’ll have you bleating with joy!
If you are a Yoga Snob, this might blow your mind and really test your ability to calm your mind. So, take a deep breath, put on your best “I’m totally zen” face, and let’s see if you can handle the goat yoga groove. People come here for many reasons and it doesn’t look anything like a stereotypical yoga class. The instructors are certified, professional and sweat right along with you but they also make sure yoga newbies do not feel intimidated. Through the distraction of goats, newbies they find they can actually do a pose or two and are willing to pursue a the practice- because everyone was watching the goats, not them.
If you don’t like young children, make sure you select the correct class. Family GOGA is not for you.
Please park at the Vail Transportation Center Parking Garage and catch our shuttle near the Visitor’s Center. Our Van has goats plastered on it so you won’t miss it. Catch the shuttle 30 minutes or 15 minutes prior to class. Upon arrival, sign you waiver at the office behind the turquoise door. No parking at the stables for GOGA unless you have a full vehicle.
